Yet another weekend :)

The last hours of this weekend is approaching where alot of money have been lost but alot of knowleged have been gained.

Friday was Thorstens birthsday and we went to the harbor building to watch some ligts getting beamed onto it. There were different types of ligts, everything from making the buildling looking like it was mid winter with snow in the windows to small black and white video flash backs and animals walking over the building. We thereafter went to a mexican restaurant, and I must admit, Im not impressed. I ordered a Burito with beef and it came on a VERY hot plate with some rice and what seemed to be chili con carne or something like that. The chili con carne didnt look any good at all and i noticed after a little that thre were skin on it, Im not sure if it was there when I got it or if it came during the time i had the plate, but it didnt really taste of that much.

We then went to Skycity in order to visit the casino and blow up some money in a game of blackjack. Yet again I was a bit disapointed, the dealer made the game so fast you didnt have time to enjoy it and it felt like the casino were just ripping you off and harvesting money from you. Im not sure how people turns into casino addicts. The only thing which will get me back is if I can get 100% insurance that I will win, then Ill head back and take my revenge, but until then Ill rather play Lotto and then do my blackjack online for gamemoney in a more comfotable speed.
We briefly visited the poker lounge upstairs but not much were going on, a few tables were playing but other than that there were a few people winning CENTS on slot maschines, the highest win we spotted up there were 8 dollar 75 cents. Cmon people go collect bottles instead, you cant tell me that youre enjoying autoplay and a total win of 8 dollar 75 cent....
After a disapointing first time casino experience we went for the Auckland dancefloors to see if there was anything going on. The bounce told me that he knew me (???(he got good memory, only been there 4 times since 1. september) and we got in and found that it was going quite good. The only odd thing about this friday was the amout of traffic on the floor people commuted from the front to the back and you got pushed around all the time because of people wanting to go somewhere else.
We left at around 2 am and hired a taxi to get home, I gave him my EFTPOS car in order to pay and he only had the old system where he used a slide to copy card details, but it just came to my mind that there is no expiry date on my eftpos card som im excited to see if we got a free taxi home.

On saturday I wanted to sleep the whole morning because I was devastated friday evening but I got badly interrupted by the chinese part of the house having a conversation in the kitchen. No hard feelings for them, they just talk LOUD!
Thorsten and Markus asked me if I wanted to come with them to coromandel at 1pm but I didnt want to go because its one of those thing close to Auckland that I really want to save until my family is here.

So basicly my saturday and sunday have been spent on reading, writing and talking to friends and family in europe. The time is now 7 pm and Im about to make dinner with a push of a button and then all my attention will be on ironing shirts for the next weeks usage until dinner arrives.

So long!
Cheers
